Training Cancellation Policy
This cancellation policy sets out the terms and conditions relating to canceling or rescheduling training sessions and workshops offered on a commercial basis by Para Africa LTD (PAL). This includes receiving payments, course cancellations, and refunds. By booking a training session, you agree to adhere to the following policy.
1.0. Cancellation Notice by Participants
2.0. Refund Process
Refunds for cancellations made within the applicable timeframe will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will only be made to the payee's account from where the original payment was made.
3.0. Substitutions
- Participants may substitute another individual to attend the training without penalty. Substitutions must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
- PAL will allow organizations to change the delegate name free of charge up to 48 hours before the start date of the course.
- If no replacement delegate is made, the booking can be transferred to the next available date free of charge, or the delegate can be added to the waiting list if a course date has not yet been confirmed.
4.0. Circumstances for Cancellation
4.1. Lack of Minimum Delegates
PAL reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum delegate threshold is not met. Delegates will be offered a new course date or a full refund.
4.2. Course Trainers
Courses will be delivered by experienced trainers. In cases of illness or emergencies, PAL reserves the right to substitute trainers or reschedule sessions at its discretion.
5.0. No-Show Policy
Participants who fail to attend the training without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
6.0. Special Considerations
Requests for cancellations due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Documentation is required to support such requests.
7.0. Equality, Diversity, and Human Rights
PAL is committed to ensuring that no person or group will be treated less favorably due to age, disability, gender, race, religion, or belief.
8.0. Responsibilities
- The Managing Director has overall responsibility for this policy.
- All PAL staff are responsible for day-to-day delivery of the policy.

By registering for training, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this cancellation policy.
